This series is for you if:

• you want to move your writing from self-expression to literary art.
• you don’t love grammar-speak but you know that your poems, essays, and stories are made of nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, and Zzzzzzz......
• you are awake to the likelihood that your writing won’t improve beyond a certain point until you can execute your artistic medium (language) with more awareness, deliberateness, rigor.
Each week, we will focus on one category of words, observing its successful usage in well-made poems, then applying the learnings to our own “finished” poems.
These sessions will not include group-critique, but time will be allotted for sharing about process, challenges, triumphs, discoveries.
